Ästhetisch unschön

Hanging this in my hallway was the easiest decorating decision I've made all year. The oil stick texture on that unprimed canvas gives it a raw, handmade feel that photos don't do justice to, and the humor lands perfectly without being loud. It's already sparked a few laughs from guests.

The texture of the paint is genuinely visible in the print, which gives it a lot more depth than your typical poster. It's already up in my living room and the dry humor fits perfectly with my minimal decor.

I was a little worried the humor might feel forced, but the text is deadpan in the best way. The oil stick texture gives it a handmade warmth that plays nicely against the clean, unprimed canvas. It’s been up in my hallway for a week and I keep catching myself smiling at it.
