Representing a blue plant with large leaves growing upwards towards the sky - The dream of a lush garden. The original work is painted in gouache on natural-colored paper.

"Two favorite motifs I have are the body and abstract shapes. I often explore where the boundaries go between imaginative and abstract, what distortions and simplifications can be made while maintaining a balance or a feeling in the motif." - Hanna Peterson

Sebastian Z. ★★★★★

The upward sweep of the leaves gives the whole piece such a hopeful, airy energy—it’s exactly the feeling I wanted for my living room. The gouache texture on that natural paper shows up beautifully in person, with the blue really popping against the soft background.

Victoria M. ★★★★★

I hung this above my reading chair and the gouache texture actually shows up beautifully in person, the leaves reach upward just like the description says. It makes my small apartment feel like it has a window to a garden.

Evelyn F. ★★★★★

The blue really pops against the natural paper—those big leaves reaching upward feel like they’re about to burst off the wall. It’s got that serene, dreamy garden vibe I wanted for my reading nook.
