Soft and compliant shapes in contrast. Minimalist painting with clear shapes in black against a beige / gray background. The motif is part of the series "Nexus" consisting of 3 different motifs that are nice to combine together.

"I usually work by hand in different techniques. I mostly paint on paper and use colors in a duller color scale. The inspiration for my works comes from shapes and colors that I encounter in everyday life." - Lena Wigers

John ★★★★★

I hung this above my desk and the contrast between the bold black forms and the soft beige background really draws my eye every time I glance up. It’s part of the Nexus series, so I might grab the other two to complete the set.

Claire H. ★★★★★

The black shapes on the beige background look even better in person than on screen—great contrast without being harsh. It’s the perfect size to stand out on my wall without overwhelming the room.

Riley S. ★★★★★

The matte finish of the paper really makes the black shapes pop against that soft beige background, and it's got just the right amount of texture. I hung it in my hallway and it instantly made the space feel more curated.
